Since I can remember, I loved finding a good deal. The hunt of finding items at a discounted price and then seeing the "you saved" on my receipt provided me a thrill that I still love to this day.
Now I not only get to hunt for deals for myself but also search for fabulous finds for my family and home.

In 2017 my husband and I bought a house and decided to add on a few square feet to increase the footprint and add a larger main bedroom and bath. Well...long story short. The house was accidentally demolished and we didn't have the finances to hire the project out. Push came to shove and my husband, father-in-law and a family friend who is a contractor helped us put the pieces back together again. We had to do a lot of DIY in order to make our house the home we hoped for. Our DIY mindset has just continued from there and now we have a laundry list of DIY's.
